Welcome to my website! I have a burning desire to create. My entire life the desire to create has run through my veins. Having come from a very artistic family the joy of creating has always been part of my life. I have been on a journey to teach myself with DVD's of our modern masters;
Richard Schmid, David Leffel, Quang Ho, Morgan Weistling, Elisabeth Pruitt, Jim Wilcox, Richard Robinson, Richard McKinley and Ian Roberts, have helped me immensely in my quest toward my own form of perfection. Each painting brings me closer to the realization of that quest for perfection that all artists seek.
As Keith Bond so eloquently stated; "Every artist is self-taught.
Even the artists who study for years at an atelier or under the tutelage of a master are self-taught. This may be a wild notion for some. But it is true.
A teacher can instruct, but the student doesn't learn anything until he actually does something. The act of doing becomes the force that teaches. And that act of doing will never be quite the way the teacher would have done it."
